Position Summary
Operate and/or supervise efficient and effective Tool room activities onsite for Industrial Construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
• Perform onsite Material; Care Custody and control functions in support of field activities.
• Establish and ensure daily operation functions of Tool room, as needed to support Field Activities. Interface, learn and understand any and all facets of project materials operations onsite.
• Establish and maintain effective and efficient Tools and Equipment checkout brass system (as utilized) inventory control, jobsite safety tool and equipment checks and repairs, filling of Field Requisitions, staging and preparation of materials for field installation and support of QA/QC welding.
• Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
• Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications, point out deficiencies and explain and take any corrective action needed.
Qualifications
• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools
Requirements
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
• Responsible for the inventory and organization of tools and equipment within the tool room
• Responsible for issuing tools to authorized personnel.
• Responsible for the Return, keep-up and receiving the tools back upon completion of the job.
• Must keep accurate records of when tools leave and come back to the tool room.
• Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft)
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
