Position Summary

Supports site operations by managing logistics, deliveries, and documentation, assisting with hiring and onboarding, and coordinating travel and lodging. This role also handles general administrative tasks and provides on-site support to project staff and visitors as needed.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Track shipments and coordinate deliveries to the job site
  • Maintain truck/delivery tickets
  • Accompany visitors and project team members, as needed
  • Assist with various project-related errands
  • Schedules and tracks post offer physical exams and results
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding process 
  • Provide project site and management support for lodging and travel needs 
  • Distribute required notices to job sites
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management 

Qualifications

  • May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.

Requirements

  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/marine site, so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
  • Constantly works in a construction/marine environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor weather conditions
  • Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as required
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment
  • May be required/able to move items weighing up to 25 pounds across construction/marine site
  • Must be able to obtain an issued Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) ID Card  for access to the Navy Base (site location)
  • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required
  • Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and US Government background check
