Tig B-Pressure Hand Welder - Woodfibre

Position Summary

Kiewit is hiring experienced Tig B-Pressure Hand Welders for the Woodfibre project located in Squamish, BC.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson Red Seal Welding ticket 
• Valid Class A Pressure Welding Ticket for BC
  • If you hold an equivalent ticket from another province, you must be willing to obtain BC registration
• 3+ years’ experience with tig (GTAW) welding stainless steel and carbon
• 3+ years’ experience with stick (SMAW) hand welding
• RMD experience is an asset but will train 
• Accepting DSPs/Independent Contractors
• Must pass weld tests through CLAC – stainless tig, carbon tig, carbon stick  

Shift Information

• 14/7 rotation
• Must be available to work days or nights

• Base Wage: $54.00 for B-Pressure Tig Welders
  • If DSP/Independent Contractor: $66.84
• Additional site premiums available upon:
  • Successful completion of 30 DI using RMD
  • Completion of 50 DI with no repairs
• Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test
