Position Summary
Kiewit is currently seeking experienced Pipefitter Journeypersons for the Path2Zero project, located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
Position Requirements
- Valid Journeyperson (JM) Pipefitter Ticket
- Valid certificates:
- MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform)
- Confined Space
- Fall Protection
- Experience fitting Aluminum pipe, small and large bore for cold boxes at the Air Separation Unit (ASU) segment
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Industrial construction
Compensation and Shift Details
- Base wage: $52.00 per hour as per CLAC Collective Agreement
- ITC Premium: $2.50 per hour on base hours (40 hours per week)
- Vacation pay: 6% on base hours (40 hours per week)
- Statutory holiday pay: 3.6% on base hours (40 hours per week)
- Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day; Friday, 8 hours
- Overtime and weekend work may be required
Project Information
The Path2Zero project is a major clean energy initiative supporting the decarbonization of industrial operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Upon its completion in 2028, the facility will be Canada’s largest clean hydrogen production site and among the largest globally.
Requirements
• Able to meet all physical requirements.
• Must have all required tools
• Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft)
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
