Position Summary

Kiewit is looking for Journeyperson Ironworkers for the Elk Valley Resources Project located in Elkford, BC.

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyperson ticket.
  • Valid Fall Arrest ticket.
  • Valid Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) ticket.
  • Previous experience rigging, crane signaling, connecting structural steel and bolt tensioning.

Shift Information

  • Current schedule is a 14/7 dayshift rotation.
  • Minimum 10 hours per day with over time after 6.5 hours daily.
  • Must be willing to work additional overtime and weekends when required.

Additional Information

Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug and Alcohol test, a 50 lb Fitness to Work test and a Half Mask Fit.

Line Creek Operations is located approximately 12 kilometers from the community of Elkford, in southeastern British Columbia. It is one of our four steelmaking coal operations in the Elk Valley operating since 2015.
