Position Summary

 Kiewit is hiring an experienced Forklift and Zoom boom operator for the Woodfibre Project in BC. This role involves operating various types of equipment in a marine-adjacent industrial environment. Candidates must be local to Coquitlam, BC, as the position is based at the Marine Yard. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience operating zoom boom, calmar or similar forklift, shunt truck, high way truck and trailer
  • Marine experience is an asset: 
    • Backing trailers onto barges
    • Loading/offloading equipment and materials from barges
  • Must have Class 1 Driver's license or Class 3 with airbrakes and provide 5 year Commercial Driver's Abstract
  • Valid Zoom Boom Ticket 
  • Valid Forklift Ticket
  • CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 
  • Lead hand experience is a plus 

 

Shift Information

  • 5/2 rotation
  • Must be available to work days or nights

Additional Information

  • Wage: $43.30/hour
  • Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test.
  • Due to the volume of applicants, only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.
  • No LOA - daily commute required. Must be local to Coquitlam, BC
