Position Summary
Kiewit is looking for Licenced Journeyperson Carpenters for our Cheekeye project in Squamish, BC.
Requirements
• Journeyman/Red Seal Carpenter Licence required
• Industrial or Heavy Civil Concrete/Carpenter experience required
• Heavy formwork (Jump/Doka) experience required
• Fall Arrest and Areal Work Platform certificates an asset
• Valid Canadian Driver's licence and abstract required

Shift Information
• 6/1 - Monday to Saturday
• Additional overtime may be required
• Rotating days and nights

Additional Information
• Pay $42.39 hour, $2.75/hour extra when on nights
• LOA $165/day worked for qualified applicants (this is not a camp position)
• Bussing $30/day worked
• Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire drug, alcohol & 50lb fitness to work test

Project Information
The new bridge will include a three-metre wide multi-use active transportation pathway for pedestrians and cyclists and the new structure will provide higher clearance for river navigation and will be less susceptible to flooding.
