Position Summary

Kiewit is hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for the Woodfibre Project in Squamish, BC. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience 
  • Journeyman Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred)
  • Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Certification
  • Fall Protection Certification
  • CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015
  • Experience with temporary power systems and care and preservation work 
  • Proficient in cable tray system installation, including layout, support installation, and alignment 
  • Experience with performing cable pulls, including large‑scale, multi‑conductor and heavy industrial cables
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety standards
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying site conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and must provide 5 year driver's abstract 

Shift Information

  • 14/7 rotation
  • Day and night shifts. If on nights, premium: $3.00/hour 
  • 10-hour shifts
  • Camp job - Floatel 

Additional Information

  • Wage: $48.00 
  • Flights provided 
  • Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test
