Long Description
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, orderly, and well-maintained facility. This position performs routine cleaning, sanitation duties while ensuring that the building and surrounding areas are presentable.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces.

Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.

Clean and restock restrooms and other supply areas.

Clean windows, glass, doors, fixtures, and other building surfaces as needed.

Monitor cleaning and restroom supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored properly.

Report safety hazards, damage, maintenance concerns, or unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities experience required.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.

Ability to safely use cleaning products, equipment, and tools.

Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving supplies or equipment.
