Kiewit Carpenter Journeyperson Opportunity – Path2Zero Project
Kiewit is currently seeking an experienced Journeyperson Carpenter for the Path2Zero project, located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
Position Requirements
- Valid Journeyperson (JM) Carpenter Ticket or equivalent hours
- Valid Fall Protection, Confined Space and MEWP Tickets
- Minimum of five years’ experience in industrial construction
- Experience with Peri formwork is considered an asset
- A clean five-year driver’s abstract is required
Compensation and Shift Details
- Base wage: $49.39 per hour as per CLAC Collective Agreement
- ITC Premium: $3.00 per hour on base hours (40 hours per week)
- Vacation pay: 6% on base hours (40 hours per week)
- Statutory holiday pay: 3.6% on base hours (40 hours per week)
- Night shift premium: $3.00 per hour working nights
- Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day; Friday, 8 hours
- Overtime and weekend work may be required
- Ability to work night shifts is necessary
Additional Information
- Candidates offered a position must successfully complete SureHire Drug, Alcohol, and 50lb Fitness to Work tests
- No travel and living-out expenses provided

• Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft)
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload
