Position Summary

Kiewit is looking for Crane Operators for the Elk Valley Resources Project located in Elkford, BC.

Requirements

  • Valid JM Mobile Crane Operator ticket
  • 5 years’ experience in Industrial Construction
  • 5 Years' experience in RT Tadano 60-100T cranes

Shift Information

  • One dayshift spot and one Nightshift spot
  • 14/7 rotation
  • Minimum 10 hours per day with over time after 6.5 hours daily.
  • Must be willing to work additional overtime and weekends when required.
  • Camp is provided.
  • Rotational Allowance to cover travel costs outside of the travel free radius of 75 km from camp. 
  • There is a shuttle bus for the craft that will be flying into the Calgary airport.

  • Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a Drug, Alcohol, half mask fit, and 50lb Fit to work test

Line Creek Operation that is located approximately 12 kilometers from the community of Elkford, in southeastern British Columbia. It is one of our four steelmaking coal operations in the Elk Valley operating since 2015.
