Position Summary
The Threading Associate is part of a pipe assembly line, responsible for working with various threading machines & equipment. They are responsible for the quality of the thread counts, fittings, and distribution of the pipe.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Operates and sets gauges, counts, torques, and threads on various threading machines: Rigid 300, LB, Swift, Make-on Machines, etc.
- Determines diameter of piping, utilizing cutting tables, band saws and a tape measure.
- Handles pipes & materials weighing up to 50 pounds, lifting & shuffling it down an assembly line onto a table for packaging.
- Inspects pipe & fittings to assure quality finished product.
- Read & follow written instructions on work orders.
- Counts finished products to determine if orders are complete; prepares completed orders for shipment.
- Works in a warehouse environment in hot & cold weather conditions.
Qualifications
- May require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must possess working knowledge of skills and abilities for position.
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
Requirements
- Able to meet all physical requirements.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
