Position Summary
Conducts repairs on multiple life safety systems to include Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, Clean Agent and Fire Pumps.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Able to troubleshoot and repair Fire Protection systems stemming from inspections and emergency calls.
- Knowledge of disabling and enabling fire alarm panels for system service.
- Select pipe sizes, types or related materials, such as supports and hangers, for layout and installation.
- Ensures appropriate materials are provided based on working knowledge of fire protection system repair.
- Performs cutting, fitting, and pipe connection using threaded, soldered, brazed or grooved joints and utilizes a variety of hand tools.
- Inspects and tests installed systems using NFPA testing guidelines and approved equipment.
- Completes required paperwork and reports on each job including daily time, progress, duration, record of parts, material and labor.
Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
Requirements
- Able to meet all physical requirements.
- Must have all required tools.
- Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft).
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.

- Must have valid Driver's License and clean Department of Motor Vehicles report.
