Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman

Position Summary

Conducts repairs on multiple life safety systems to include Wet, Dry, Pre-Action, Clean Agent and Fire Pumps.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

• Able to troubleshoot and repair Fire Protection systems stemming from inspections and emergency calls.
• Knowledge of disabling and enabling fire alarm panels for system service. 
• Select pipe sizes, types or related materials, such as supports and hangers, for layout and installation. 
• Ensures appropriate materials are provided based on working knowledge of fire protection system repair. 
• Performs cutting, fitting, and pipe connection using threaded, soldered, brazed or grooved joints and utilizes a variety of hand tools. 
• Inspects and tests installed systems using NFPA testing guidelines and approved equipment. 
• Completes required paperwork and reports on each job including daily time, progress, duration, record of parts, material and labor. 

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.

Requirements

• Able to meet all physical requirements. 
• Must have all required tools.
• Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft).
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
• All candidates offered a position must successfully pass pre-employment drug and background screens. 
• Must have valid Driver's License and clean Department of Motor Vehicles report.
