Position Summary

Kiewit is currently looking for Labourers for the YVR North Runway Rehabilitation Project located in Richmond, BC. 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in the construction industry 
  • Experience working around heavy construction equipment 
  • Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload   
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions 
  • Familiar with basic tools and equipment
  • A strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
  • Drivers license is required

Shift Information

  • 6 days on 1 day off 
  • Nightshift 
  • Must be willing to work additional overtime/weekends if required 

Additional Information

  • Wage: $29.78 - $35.06
  • Night shift premium 
  • Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a Drug, Alcohol, Background Check, and 50lb Fit to work test 
  • CSTS, WHIMIS, Driver’s license and 5-year Abstract

Project Information

Vancouver International Airport is undertaking a modernization program to upgrade the North Runway. The runway will receive a series of upgrades to enhance operational resiliency. The program includes a complete asphalt overlay of the North Runway and connecting taxiways with supporting works to upgrade drainage systems as well as electrical and lighting equipment.
