Position Summary
Kiewit is looking for B-Pressure Welders at the Strathcona Refinery Renewable Diesel Expansion (SHRED) Project located in Edmonton, AB.
Requirements
- Valid B-Pressure ticket
- 5 years' experience with stainless steel (alloys)
- 5 years’ experience in Industrial Construction
- F6, F6F5, F6F5 6", and F3F4 CLAC welding testing
Shift Information
- Dayshift/Nightshift
- Monday to Thursday 10-hours; Friday 8-hours
- Must be willing to work additional overtime/weekends if required
Additional Information
- CLAC Rate: $47.12 (+ $3/hr nightshift premium if applicable)
- DSP/Contract Rate: $59.70 (+ $3/hr nightshift premium if applicable)
- Rig Welders will be considered for nightshift only
- Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a Drug, Alcohol, Mask-Fit, and 50lb Fit to work test
- H2S Aware ticket – site wide clean shave policy
- Fall Protection and MEWP tickets required

Canada's largest renewable diesel complex at its Strathcona refinery near Edmonton, AB. This new complex is expected to produce more than 1 billion liters per year of renewable diesel from locally sourced feedstocks.
