Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

•    Assure the efficient, clean and safe fueling and oiling of equipment

•    Minimize down time through effective PM procedures and management.

•    Cleaning of equipment prior to any maintenance being performed on the equipment.

•    Clean and properly collect samples.

•    Thorough leak inspection and identification.

•    Timely oil and filter changes

•    Complete inspection of all machine systems and components

•    Consistent completion of all PM paperwork

•    Perform minor corrective maintenance on all equipment.

•    Assist Mechanics as needed but not to interfere with personal job requirements.

•    Communicate issues with machines to production management when necessary.

Qualifications

•    May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
•    Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
•    Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
•    Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools

Requirements

  • Able to meet all physical requirements. 
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to use equipment boarding steps and ladders to climb on and off heavy equipment, several times through the shift.
  • Able to work on your feet most of the shift
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to work 12-hour shifts on a 14 - on and 7 - off rotation schedule. Including weekends and night shift.
  • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
