Skilled Labourer - SWCRR

Position Summary

Kiewit is hiring night shift Skilled Labourers for the KGL - Southwest Calgary Ring Road Project.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of construction labour experience required
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license is required
  • Experience operating equipment (i.e.. skid steer, packer, etc.) is an asset
  • Assist with other duties as required
  • Local to the Calgary Area an asset

Shift Information

  • Night Shift
  • Up to 12 hour shifts
  • Overtime required
  • Must be willing to work weekends when required

Additional Information

  • Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug and Alcohol and Fit for Work test.
  • Labourers will be responsible for various duties on the construction site which may include but are not limited to: assisting tradesmen, carrying materials, etc.

Project Information

The Southwest Calgary Ring Road will be built between Highway 8 (near Elbow Springs Golf Course) and Macleod Trail S.E. The project includes reconstruction of Glenmore Trail between Sarcee Trail and east of 37 Street S.W. It consists of 31 kilometres of six- and eight-lane divided highway, 14 interchanges, 47 bridges, one road flyover, one railway crossing (flyover), one culvert set, one tunnel, and three river crossings over the Elbow River and Fish Creek
