Position Summary

This is an office clerk position working with the Quality team. The primary focus of this role is to provide a wide range of administrative services.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

•    Perform all required duties with the first focus on safety.
•    Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, etc.
•    Responsible for keeping work areas clean and in orderly conditions.
•    Perform other administrative duties as required or assigned. .
•    Read and understand warning signs, jobsite safety rules and jobsite policies.

 

Qualifications

•    Experience working in a office setting on construction site is preferred.
•    Detail oriented with a strong aptitude for learning new processes and skills. 
•    Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
•    Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
•    Experience using Smartsheet preferred.
•    Requires skills in using computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet navigation, e-mail, and calendars.
•    Be highly organized with exceptional time management skills.

Requirements

•    Constantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor weather conditions.
•    The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site, so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
•    Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as required.
•    Attention to detail.
•    Highly flexible and able to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
•    Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.
•    Observe and comply with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.
•    Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with minimal guidance.
•    Requires skills in using computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet navigation, e-mail, and calendars.
•    Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
•    May be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pound across construction/industrial site.
